Colorado Law 12-43-214 requires all mental health professionals to give clients, at initial contact, information about credentials, training, licenses, methods of treatment, fees, and confidentiality. Exceptions are made for emergency situations or court order.
You are entitled to receive information about the methods of therapy, the techniques used, the duration of therapy, if known, and the fees. You may seek a second opinion from another counselor or therapist.
You may stop counseling at any time.
Sexual intimacy between client and counselor is not a part of any recognized therapy. Sexual intimacy between client and counselor is illegal in Colorado and should be reported to the Dept. of Regulatory Agencies, Mental Health Section.
The information provided by the client during therapy sessions is legally confidential.

Fees are worked out on an individual basis with base fees of $85 for a 50-minute session, or $110 for 80 minutes. Cash, check, or credit card accepted. No charge for brief phone contact between sessions unless a phone session has been pre arranged.
Cancellation Policy: If no contact is made prior to a scheduled session then full fee is charged (exceptions made for bona fide emergencies). If you cancel your scheduled session at least 24 hours in advance no charge will be made. You may leave a message on my voice mail to cancel. You do not have to speak with me in person. If I make an error and forget an appointment or mark it in the wrong place in my appointment book, the next session is free. If you are late for an appointment and I must end on time, I will charge for the full session.
